I feel it an honor to be Vice-Chancellor of Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa, our institution named after a famous saint and Philosopher Vemana whose philosophy visualizes a society bereft of orthodox, Superstitions and social evils. The University situated in the backward region of Rayalaseema in the state of Andhra Pradesh promises to impart value-based education and promote qualitative research aiming at societal welfare. The University has the potential to reach the highest standards in Teaching, Research and Service and with all its strength can reach greater heights to fulfill the vision of its founder, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Late Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy garu. In its constant pursuit for quality, excellence and standards the dedicated services of all the stakeholders are chronicle. I am sure that the University will make remarkable progress with collective efforts and commitment.
