The Basic Facility for Women was established in the year 2013 by the funds sanctioned in UGC XI Plan grants. All the facilities were inaugurated by the Hon'ble Ex- Vice Chancellor Prof. Arjula Ramchandra Reddy on 2nd February 2013.
Objectives of the sanctioned grants were:
1. Creation of New infrastructure for Women students, Teachers, researchers and non teaching staff of the university.
2. Maintenance and up gradation of Infrastructures.
The following facilities for women were set up in the campus:
1. Ladies Common Room.
2. Ladies Cyber cafe.
3. Ladies Gymnasium.
4. Medical Room for women (up gradation of facilities).
This facility is furnished with furniture's and sports equipments such as Table tennis, carom boards and a few gym equipments for recreation purpose. There are a few computer systems also, so that those who have net card can connect to internet.
This has been established in the Women's Hostel in Yogi Vemana University campus. This Center has 15 computers with latest configurations along with UPS, computer chairs and Tables.
It is Equipped with high quality Gym equipments; 16 station multigame, Abdomen Machine, Multi twister, Multi stepper, Dumbbells, Tread mill (motorized), Inclination bench, Swiss Balls Apart from these some sports equipments were also procured like
1. Table tennis board.
2. Chess boards.
3. Shuttle court poles and bats.
4. Carom Board.
The Gymnasium was established with technical support from Dr.K.Rama Subba Reddy, and Dr.S.Chan Basha Assistant Physical Directors, Department of Physical Education, YVU.

I am indebted to the faculty of the University, who inculcated scientific temper and research aptitude and I think YVU is a happening place for qualitative research.
The academic ambience and infrastructure of the University are the hallmarks, I consider myself to be lucky to be here and I foresee a bright future in pursuit of Science.
Yogi Vemana University is certainly a hub for meaningful research activities. Research in social sciences here bears contemporary relevance and addresses societal problems.
Yogi Vemana University installed faith in me to explore new avenues in liberal arts which mates us more humane and civilized.
