He is having reputed R&D collaborators in the area of hydrogeology, environment and health care applications. He has teaching experience of over 14 years and research experience of 30 years.
Groundwater potential zones will be delineated with the help of field checks, Survey of India toposheets and collateral data are being processed using the Remote Sensing, GIS, ArcGIS 10.8 environment, which produces more accurate results. Individual themes in the current study include lithology, geomorphology, soil, lineament density, drainage density, land use / land cover, slope, and rainfall maps. These layers were overlaid one by one to produce the final composite map of groundwater prospect zones and this study is extremely valuable for groundwater planning, sustainable management, and the construction of artificial recharge structures.
Dr. Srinivasa Gowd having rich post-doctoral research experience as CSIR-Research Associate, CSIR-Sr. Research Associate, and DST-Young Scientist for more than 9 years in prestigious institutions like S.V. University, Tirupati, and National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), Hyderabad in India . He has received fellowships, awards, and grants from various scientific agencies in recognition of his research work in India.
