Adjudicated thesis submitted to Acharya Nagarjuna University (Guntur), The University of the Sunshine Coast (Australia), Sri Venkateswara University (Tirupati).

Crustacean Endocrinology of growth and reproduction:
Growth and reproduction enhancement in crustacean species: Isolation and characterization of vitellogenin synthesizing gene in response to the endocrine hormones and environmental toxicants and neurotransmitters in the freshwater crab Oziotelphusa senex senex and in other edible crustaceans. Isolation and characterization of genes regulating molting and reproduction in selected edible crustacean species. Role of external and internal factors on the regulation of growth and reproduction in crustaceans.
Toxicological effects of xenoestrogens on male and female reproduction in mammals:
Contraceptives and xenoestrogens caused damage in the male reproduction in rat: Determination of role of xenoestrogens and male contraceptives on male reproduction (fertility) in rats. The fertility of male rats assessed mainly studying the parameters sperm count, sperm motility, sperm morphology, HOS test, reproductive performance of exposed male rats and also the efficiency assessment of first generation male rats. This study may give information about the decreased male fertility in men in the world and suggests the solution to rectify this problem temporarily or permanently.
  Bioactive compounds against colorectal cancer:
Finding potential bioactive compounds having anticancer activity especially on colorectal cancer is undergoing. Natural plant based drugs are found to be effective against colorectal cancer which need to be brought into safe usage with less side effects. Both in vitro and in vivo studies confirm the pharmacological usage of bioactives against colorectal cancer.
