1. The Earth Science Department has established sophisticated labs with modern equipments.
1. National Seminar on “Geodynamics and Mineral Resources of Proterozoic Basins of India (GAMP – 2010) March 4-6, 2010. (DST) Coordinated by Prof. M.Ramakrishna Reddy.
2. The Department of Earth Science and Geology & Geoinformatics organized INSPIRE - 2011 intern programme sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India from March 26th to 30th 2011 was executed by Dr.N.Jayaraju, Coordinator, INSPIRE 2011.
3. The Department celebrated “Earth Day” on April 22nd 201, under coordinate ship of Dr. S.Srinivasa Gowd.

I am indebted to the faculty of the University, who inculcated scientific temper and research aptitude and I think YVU is a happening place for qualitative research.
The academic ambience and infrastructure of the University are the hallmarks, I consider myself to be lucky to be here and I foresee a bright future in pursuit of Science.
